Axis People, a division of Industry FinTech, is a growing human resources and specialized staffing partner dedicated to building, onboarding, and managing high-performing teams for a diverse portfolio of business clients across multiple industries in the USA. This isn’t a typical recruiting role.
As our HR & Recruiting Associate for Axis People, you will run the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for our external clients in the United States. Axis People operates as a strategic staffing and recruitment agency, meaning you will manage diverse vacancies across multiple industries and business sectors in the U.S.
You will be the bridge between top-tier talent and our U.S. clients, managing everything from sourcing to deep competency interviews through Trakstar. Beyond international recruiting, you will play a key role in our local operations, utilizing your knowledge of Ecuadorian labor laws to support onboarding, contract management, and local HR administrative workflows.

Source, attract, and engage top U.S. candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and advanced searches across various industries.

Conduct full English interviews to evaluate candidate experience, technical skills, communication style, and alignment with our U.S. clients' specific corporate cultures.

Manage candidates, stages, and workflows inside Trakstar (ATS), ensuring a flawless data trail and an exceptional candidate experience.

Coordinate interviews and maintain seamless communication between candidates, U.S. hiring managers, and corporate clients.

Prepare structured candidate shortlists, analytical interview notes, and executive summaries for client review.

Support internal and client onboarding processes, ensure proper documentation, and apply Ecuadorian labor legislation for local hiring structures, payroll inputs, and contract management.
- Maintain organized, accurate, and compliant data across all HR, recruiting, and project management systems.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves:
- MUST! Fluent English communication (written and spoken) — this position is 100% in English
- At least 2 years of recruiting experience, ideally supporting U.S. or international hiring.
- Strong sourcing skills (LinkedIn, job boards, networking)
- Solid knowledge of Ecuadorian Labor Law (Legislación Laboral Ecuatoriana): Experience managing local contracts, SUT, IESS, or employment regulations.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Fast response time and excellent follow-up.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ATS platforms (Bonus points for experience in Trakstar)
- Experience managing onboarding workflows or HR administrative tasks
Bonus Points For:
- Experience recruiting for Finance or Corporate roles
- Understanding of compensation benchmarking (U.S. roles)
- Familiarity with U.S. recruitment norms
- Familiarity with project management tools (ClickUp, Notion, Asana, etc.)
