Job Overview:
As the Business Development Manager, you will lead efforts to expand our private placement and capital-raising activities. You will identify opportunities, develop relationships with issuers, fund managers, and investors, and drive revenue growth. This role requires a strong understanding of the private capital markets, a proactive approach to networking, and a strategic mindset to navigate a competitive landscape.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with issuers, fund managers, institutional investors, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Business Development: Identify new opportunities for private placements and private capital raising, aligning with company goals.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities within private capital markets.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic plans to generate leads and close deals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to structure private placements and ensure compliance with all broker-dealer regulations.
  • Networking: Represent the firm at industry conferences, events, and meetings to expand the company’s presence and attract clients.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and forecasts to leadership on business development activities and pipeline progress.

 

Experience and Skills:

- Understanding of private capital, alternative investments, wealth management, or capital markets is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for working with entrepreneurs.
- Ability to work independently and hold oneself accountable.
- Strong intellectual curiosity, empathy, passion, competitiveness, and organization.
