:receipt: About the Role
We’re looking for a licensed Enrolled Agent or CPA to join our Finance team as a Tax Return Specialist. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and focusing on preparing accurate, timely tax returns — without the distraction of client management or team leadership.
You’ll take the lead on preparing and filing business and partnership returns (especially Form 1065s) for our clients, making sure deadlines are met and filings are compliant with IRS requirements. This is a full-time, remote role with a steady workflow year-round.
 
 
:bar_chart: What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and file business and partnership tax returns (focus on 1065s) and other required filings
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with IRS regulations and deadlines
  • Organize and review client workpapers, clarify missing information as needed
  • Manage workload independently and prioritize during tax season
  • Stay current on changes to tax law, forms, and compliance requirements

 

:white_check_mark: What We’re Looking For
  • Licensed Enrolled Agent or CPA (required)
  • 2–5 years of direct experience preparing tax returns
  • Solid experience with business and partnership returns (1065s)
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote role
  • Proficiency with tax software (UltraTax, Drake, ProConnect, or similar)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable — especially during busy season
